WW - Rolex Oyster, ref 5024, circa 1948, manual wind, 36mm x 43mm to lug tips, 19mm lug width, original stainless steel screw back Oyster case, blue suede strap "don't step on it," refinished white dial with luminous painted numerals, 17J, s#611889, triple signed, inside back ref 5024-4934. A wonderful piece for the person who wants a larger than average vintage Rolex that won't break the bank.
CONDITION:
Mvt: Running, excellent cosmetic mvt condition overall, hardly any oxide to steelwork, light fine scratches and toning to plates; refinished white dial with hardly any surface spotting; blued steel luminous syringe hands, minute hand missing all of luminous material; polished case shows light wear, numerous dents and dings on caseback, knurled back is chewed up in several areas; modern Rolex signed crown shows very little wear, good threads; good crystal.
